People need dictionaries!

Maybe closing the library isn't such a good idea. Protesters desperately need places like that!

"offical"?

Jesus. If somebody made English the official language of the USA, that guy would be in trouble.

Sheesh, abacquer, but I think that's a WO-man. I can tell by all the rings on the fingers....

Never fear, the liberry fairies ran the same scare tactic last year. I am a tad concerned re their money management abilities after they almost threw away priceless paintings. What did they do with that hundred k? Did it go into the general fund?

Absolutely ridiculous that proper management - increasing services while reducing expenses - would cause us to be decertified. Maybe we should put down the collective feet, decertify for a couple of years and use some volunteers. In that case, would recertification cost less than the current mandatory increase in expenditures?

Granted, decertification isn't ideal, but it is NOT the end of the world.

Does all the money have to come from the city? How about revenue generating proposals? User fees? Charge a few pence for the currently free concerts.

Andy Hardy and gang always found a way to get it done....
