Why I'm not a political cartoonist...

(click on image for full-size version)

My lack of any discernible artistic talent and the fact that I'm not especially funny are only the most obvious reasons...

Oh no! Ted's after our arctic circle candy!

Yes, I have been heavily influenced by Pokey the Penguin thanks to you. Damn you, Lincoln!

Aw Gee, Unicow. Where should I address my laundry bill?!

PRICELESS!!!!!!

That is the best string that I have ever seen on a local blog!

Unicow could be the next Gary Trudeau or Charles Shultz. All that's missing is the video camera and the hair helmet!

I think I just wet myself too! I hope the townies that I just sent this blog too comment real fast!

Good stuff! Lay off the bong for awhile, Unicow. You may start to get too creative and create another "lawsuit" for yourself!

You're a funny dude! (I'm guessing that you pee standing up)

"All that's missing is the video camera and the hair helmet!"

Add the earpiece for his surgically implanted cellphone and the boom microphone that picks up neighbor's phone conversations, the false teeth that his wife carries superglue around in her purse to make sure they don't fall out during a city council meeting, and the glass eye.

This man must be beautiful when he removes his spare parts to go to bed.

Unicow, hope you received my thank you for what your doing for Fitchburg's misrepresented. Left it at the Pub. Keep up the good work. Who knows maybe you can make a run for mayor. Then you could launch a Save Fitchburg from Ted desalvatore campaign. Committee to elect Unicow as a write in. Any vote for Unicow iss not a vote for Ted. That slogan would suit me fine. Can I make the bumper stickers?

Didn't receive anything at any pub, Anonymous, but thanks for the sentiment! Of course nobody at the pub knows me as the unicow anyway, so not sure how I would actually receive anything. Perhaps I'll have one of my trusted operatives look into it so as to protect my secret identity.

But holy crap no on the running for mayor thing. I'd be a terrible political candidate! I suck at lying, for one thing. Also, I call too many people "douchewads".

But if you want to make a bumper sticker anyway, feel free. I'd enjoy seeing that.

If you're from Fitchburg, you should use much stronger words than douchewads!

George Carlin's seven dirty words come to mind.

Too bad you didn't toss a real copyright on your artwork.

The order for posters is already in!

T-shirts to follow!

Unicow,

Would you be pissed off or truly flattered if you walked into a bar and saw someone wearing a t-shirt with your artwork? It's been mentioned by at least one tavern owner(s).

FS,

I've got no problem with that. It's free for people to use however they like. (Hence the copyleft.)

So I'd come down on the side of flattered. Unless it looks crappy or says "the guy who drew this is a dork" underneath, but hey whatever you want to do is fine.
